Ponderosa Drive is my own personal jewelry brand, or as some call it, a “side hustle.” What started out as humble beginnings, making jewelry solely out of polymer clay, has now expanded into custom brass pieces, as well as cut acrylic designed by me then cut using a Glowforge. All logo design, packaging, designs, product development, photography, and handling of social media is done solely by me.

Common Ground is designed to be an energetic invitation to the public to participate in the communal activity of dining in a space usually reserved for vehicular traffic. This mural visually transforms one of Fondren’s most bustling streets, reaching a wide audience of public viewers. Functionally, the ground mural assists in the practice of social distancing guidelines related to COVID-19. The mural acts as an extended outdoor space for local Fondren restaurants to utilize as they limit their capacity indoors.
The bright grid is composed of 8’ x 8’ squares, making it easy to gauge the distance between peers, while still enjoying community and food. This ground mural emphasizes the importance of community and recovery during a season of social distress. Common Ground evokes the restorative power of relationships that sprout as a result of southern food culture.

Fastbreak is a series of quick design exercises (30 minutes or less) to be mocked up as painted murals on photos of basketball courts around the world.
I grew up in a basketball family - tall and athletic is kind of their thing. However, capping out at a whopping 5’3”, I never was quite the athletic superstar as one may have hoped for. Recently the symmetry and design of basketball courts have intrigued me - they’re so simple , but with all that simplicity, there’s a whole ass community in between those simple shapes that I grew up with, albeit on the outskirts of. Recently I started playing around with a design challenge for myself. 30 min design time max, including color palette choices, to finally photoshop a painted basketball court.
Yes, I know the court photo quality is shit. Don’t come for me.
